Anasia C Sturdivant

A Bit About Me

        Anasia originally comes from a culturally rich environment in Cleveland, Ohio and it's surrounding communities know for great hole in a wall food, music, and adventures. Bio-mom to one and bonus mom to 10, she keeps her heart open. Ms. Sturdivant has had foster children that each came with their own unique struggles (10 pre/teens of her own and 11 respite kiddos). Anasia is passionate about encouraging while growing our future leaders in hope for a better community and world. The people first/person-centered approach is the moto for Anasia. She is an artist, EmCee, a poet, and a personalize jungle gym to her little in her personal life.

        After finishing her undergrad education, at Iowa State University, she furthered her higher education journey through Grand Canyon University. Here she obtained her Masters in Mental Health and Wellness. During her time at Iowa State University she earned three undergrad degrees; Biology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. Congruent to her education, Anasia did some work for the American Cancer Society in addition to the many volunteer work opportunities she engaged in throughout her 16 years in Iowa. While working for an advocacy organization, Anasia was able to initiate self-made programs, Healing in Art Curriculum, and give presentations across the state in regards to working with our youth and our communities. While working in victim services, she was able to truly grow her strength in helping others’ voice be heard. ENFJ, 
Currently residing in Loveland, Colorado raising her son, she works as a Behavioral Health Clinician while pursuing her LAC at a local Behavioral Health organization. Anasia met her driven and dedicated co-founder, Perri Young, during their time in Iowa and worked on many projects together over the years. Their joy and purpose for helping others reaches across the states.
